An umbrella company site that shows the payslip.

Web design & development · Media · 2026

Umbrella companies have an image problem, most of it earned. Northcover pay contractors the same day a timesheet is approved and show every deduction, so we built a site that leads with the payslip instead of hiding it.

Northcover is an FCSA-accredited umbrella employer for UK contractors. They employ you, invoice your agency, pay HMRC what is owed and pay you the rest, same day, every week.

The category is full of sites that talk about compliance in the abstract and go quiet the moment you ask what lands in your account. Contractors have been burned enough to assume the worst.

Our mission? Put the numbers on the screen. A live payslip in the hero, a take-home calculator a click away, and plain answers to the questions people actually ask before they sign.

Website design

Navy and coral, warm rather than corporate, with photography of people on real sites instead of stock boardrooms.

The hero carries a working payslip card: assignment rate, margin, employer NI, PAYE, holiday pay, all itemised. It answers the only question a contractor is asking before they read a word of copy.

Three steps to getting paid, a margin explained in one line, and a calculator that gives a number rather than a callback request.

Website development

Hand-built with GSAP and ScrollTrigger, no framework and no build step, with counters that animate the headline figures as they enter view.

The take-home calculator runs entirely in the browser, so there is no form to fill in and nothing to submit before you see a number.
