Our own CMS
Every site we build runs on our own CMS. We built it ourselves and we improve it all the time.
That matters more than it sounds. WordPress and page builders lean on third party plugins that need constant patching and add weight to every page. Our CMS has none of that. No plugin updates, no bloat and nothing generic.
It also lets us create custom modules really easily, tailored exactly to what your business needs. A booking system or a members’ area gets built into the CMS as a module made just for you, not bolted on with a plugin that nearly fits.
Platforms and web apps
Some businesses need more than a marketing site. A portal your customers log in to, or a web app that replaces a pile of spreadsheets.
We design and build these from scratch, including the UI work, so they’re as clear and quick to use as any site we make.
And because they run on our CMS, you manage the content yourself and we add new modules as your business grows.

Common questions
Do you use WordPress?
No. Every site we build runs on our own CMS, which we built ourselves. WordPress and page builders rely on third party plugins that need constant updates and can break or get hacked. Our CMS has no third party plugins at all, so it’s faster, safer and simpler to use. And when you need something custom, we build it as a module tailored to your business rather than hunting for a plugin that nearly fits.
Can you rebuild our existing website?
Yes, most of our builds replace something older. We migrate your content, map every old address to its new home and keep your search position safe through the switch.
Can we update the site ourselves?
Yes. Our CMS gives you a simple way to edit your own words, images and products, with nothing you don’t need getting in the way. And if you’d rather send us a quick email and have it done for you, that’s what our care plans are for.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the size of the site. Smaller brochure sites can be live in weeks, shops and custom builds take longer. We agree a realistic timeline up front and keep you posted as we go.
Who hosts the website?
We do, on fast hosting we manage ourselves as part of a care plan. If you’d rather host elsewhere we’ll hand everything over cleanly. The site is yours either way.
What happens after launch?
The site gets monitored, backed up and kept up to date through a care plan, so it stays as quick and solid as the day it went live.
