Websites for small businesses.

Bespoke websites for small businesses, designed around your customers and built to bring in enquiries. A five page site from £995, or £95 a month, with unlimited updates and support from the people who built it.

What a small business website has to do

Most small business websites have one job: to turn someone who has heard of you into someone who gets in touch. That means saying clearly what you do and where, showing your work, and making it easy to call, email or book from a phone.

It does not need fifty pages or a big budget. Five well made pages usually do it, and we build them so you can add more when the business grows.

Small business work

Wiltshire Rugs is Eleanor, a one-woman workshop in Melksham turning carpet offcuts into bespoke rugs, runners and stair runners. Her old site was a page builder template. The new one shows the craft first and makes it easy to pick up the phone.

Recent projects

  • Wiltshire RugsA one-woman workshop in Melksham, moved off a page builder.
  • Lewis Pet CareA UK online vet. A refreshed brand and a website with booking on every page.
  • CaptivoForty three pages, built so a sole trader can find their own cover in about ninety seconds.

Small businesses we look after

We build and look after websites for all kinds of small businesses, including WK Valet in Bath, Horler Electrical, Kings Oak Accountancy in Midsomer Norton, The Temple Inn at Temple Cloud, The Prince of Waterloo at Winford and Hoistway in Martock.

Run a pub or a restaurant? We have a page on websites for pubs and restaurants.

In a trade? There is a page on websites for tradesmen too.

Pay monthly or pay once?

Paying once costs less over three years. Paying monthly spreads the cost and includes a full redesign after two years on the plan. Our article on pay monthly websites against paying upfront sets out the sums honestly.

Questions

How much does a small business website cost?

£995 for a five page site, or £95 a month with no setup fee. Ten pages are £1,795 or £169 a month. Prices exclude VAT, and unlimited updates and support are included.

How long does it take?

Most small business websites take six to twelve weeks from the first conversation to going live. Getting the words and photos together is usually the longest part.

Do I need a website if I am on Facebook?

Social media is good for keeping in touch, but people who search Google for what you do, or ask an AI assistant, land on websites. A website is also the one place online that you own and control.

Can I update it myself?

You can, and you do not have to. Send us a change by email and it gets done, as part of the plan.

Is Wix cheaper?

Doing it yourself on Wix costs less in money and more in your time, and you are limited to what the template allows. If you would rather spend the time on the business, that is where we come in.

What happens if I stop paying monthly?

After the 12 month minimum you can cancel. Your site runs on our own CMS, which stays with us, but we can give you an HTML copy of the site, and your domain, content and data are always yours.

Your
move

Tell us what you are building and we will tell you, honestly, whether we are the right people for it. A call, an email, or a message. Whichever you prefer.
